Cask-conditioned real ales at the Harp Inn

We keep two real ales on hand-pump, selected from a wide range of local breweries, and some of the best independent breweries from further afield. Limiting the availability to two ales ensures that the beer is always in the best condition and quality possible.

The list below includes some of our regular guest beers and occasional favourites but we are always open to suggestions as to new beers to try and we are happy for customers to taste our beers before they decide which to buy:

Three Tuns (Shropshire) XXX ABV 4.3% and Rantipole ABV 3.6%

Hobson’s (Shropshire) Town Crier ABV 4.5% and Twisted Spire ABV 3.6%

Wye Valley Brewery (Herefordshire) HPA ABV 4% and seasonal ales

Ludlow Brewery (Shropshire) Gold ABV 4.2% and Blonde ABV 4%

Salopian Brewery (Shropshire) Oracle ABV 4% and Darwin’s Origin ABV 4.3%

Millstone Brewery (Greater Manchester) Tiger Rut 4%

Timothy Taylor (Yorkshire) Landlord ABV 4.3%

Wye Valley Brewery (Herefordshire) Butty Bach ABV 4.5%

Ciders

We are located just a stone’s throw from the border with Herefordshire, still the site of many ancient cider orchards and fantastic local cidermakers.  We are therefore spoilt for choice in deciding which to stock to meet the varied tastes of our customers.  We are currently keeping two ciders on draught, Robinsons traditional style premium quality Flagon made in limited quantities in Tenbury Wells and only available to selected independent venues as well as the ever popular Henry Westons.

We also keep a selection of bottled ciders.

Gin

Herefordshire has also become a destination for gin lovers with a plethora of brilliant small producers.  We keep a selection of those we like best, including Sly Gin from Dilwyn (varieties include pink grapefruit and lemon verbena) and Penrhos (their rhubarb gin is a particular favourite!).

Wine List

We also have a wide range of single malt whiskies from £4.00
